Carl Wilkins had his own space salvage company and was good at what he did. He had a good ship, a good crew, and a tidy sum of Credits in the bank. Then he took a salvage contract from SACOM and everything went wrong. He lost his ship, his crew, his company, and his savings. Down on his luck and flat broke, he gets a chance to get back on top again and get back at SACOM at the same time.
